(1) If a military person has to live in kiriya according to clan religion, or if the parents, siblings, children or in-laws of such a military person die, or in the case of a male soldier, if his wife dies, he will get 15 days of kiriya leave. If the husband of a female soldier has to stay in Kiriya, he will also be given Kiriya leave for the same number of days.
(2) Military personnel shall receive full pay while on leave.
(3) A military person who takes leave according to sub-rule (1) must submit the death registration certificate of the deceased person and proof of relationship with the deceased person within fifteen days of appearing in the office after the leave.
(4) The period of such leave of a military person who does not submit such certificate within the period as per sub-rule (3) shall be deducted from the other leave he is entitled to.
